Wilson has particular expertise as a trainer and coach, specialising in working with sales and business relationship managers and teams. He provides coaching to sales organisations where the sales cycle can be characterised as long or complex.
Wilson has gained over 20 years’ experience in senior management, consulting and marketing positions in major New Zealand and international organisations, across the manufacturing, FMCG, export, and telecommunication sectors.
More recently, Wilson was a senior consultant at an international professional services consulting firm where he specialised in advanced presentation skill development, sales, negotiation, and pitch strategy and execution. He has also worked as a Business Development Manager and understands the day to day challenges of working in sales and account management.
With over eight years’ experience as a credentialed coach he also provides executive coaching to a diverse group of clients at executive and senior management level assisting clients to improve their leadership, influencing and advocacy skills. He holds the Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching, accredited at Masters level through Bristol University. He has a B. Com. in Marketing from Otago University. He is a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management (UK).
