The Otago Southland Employers’ Association (OSEA) has been in existence since 1890, when we believe it was formed to deal with the impact of a threatened waterfront strike. Now over 120 years later, dealing with employment law issues and industrial relations are still key OSEA activities. But today, a much wider range of services is offered, these recognising that a typical Employers’ member has 20 or less staff, and that owner-managers will be trying to cope with ever-increasing compliance and human resource related responsibilities.
If you are an SME organisation, Employers’ is your one stop shop for everything from staff recruitment to addressing people-related problems in the workplace, around training & professional development matters and also in representing your interests to local and central government.
With The South Island’s largest specialist team of employment lawyers and advisors just a phone call away, you can be assured of rapid and supportive expert advice on any workplace issues. Our services are quality-based, value-driven and they are delivered on-time.
