In addition to our own specialist employment and health and safety teams, we also partner with some of New Zealand's most experienced facilitators to design programmes that provide businesses, corporates, government departments, managers, leaders, individuals and teams with what they need to achieve their business and life goals, develop personal skills and improve performance, productivity and effectiveness.
Our blended learning approach incorporates interactivity, expert guidance, practical tools and action plans to bring our topics alive. We also believe in an inspiring, engaging and challenging, but safe, learning environment.
Our training programmes are available as public or in-house programmes.
We offer more than 110 public training programmes through-out the year covering 12 categories. Public training programmes provide the opportunity to discuss ideas and network with people from other businesses and industries.
All of our public programmes can be delivered in-house exclusively for your team. In-house training offers you the flexibility, impact, confidentially and expertise when, where and the way you need it, with the option of having the programme tailored to your organisations specific needs.
We offer customised in-company training solutions. Our training consultants will partner with you to design and deliver a professional development programme tailored to your unique training needs.
NZIM Learning & Development offer the opportunity to complete nationally recognised NZQA certificate and diploma programmes. We have introduced to Otago and Southland the opportunity to complete the National Certificate in Business (FLM) - Level 4, the Managerial Excellence NZIM Diploma of Management (Advanced) - Level 6 and National Certificate in Adult Education and Training - Level 4.

NZTE Capability Development Vouchers The Employers' Association is registered to accept New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) Capability Development Vouchers.
Over 100 Employers' Association, NZIM Learning and Development, ExportNZ and She's Motivated professional development training programmes, courses, workshops and qualifications are registered for voucher redemption.
• What is the NZTE Capability Development Scheme?
Businesses may qualify for vouchers to help pay for services such as training workshops, courses and coaching that build the management capabilities of their owners, operators and key managers.
NZTE Capability Development Vouchers are only available through Regional Business Partners around New Zealand. Regional Business Partners will assess local businesses to determine what their needs are, and assist them with a plan to help them develop, grow and innovate.
• Do I qualify for funding?
To be eligible for the vouchers your business must
• Have fewer than 50 full time employees
• Be registered for GST in New Zealand
• Be operating in a commercial environment
• Be privately owned or a Maori Trust
• Demonstrate a desire to innovate and grow
• What can vouchers be used for?
Vouchers may be used to help businesses pay for up 50 percent of the cost of services (up to a maximum value of $5000 excluding GST) from registered training providers that improve management capabilities in targeted areas:
• Business planning
• Marketing strategies
• Finance
• Business systems
• Managing resources
• Governance
• Sustainability
• Lean Manufacturing/Business operations
• Exporting
