You will learn the fundamentals of marketing,starting with what marketing is. (And, whatit is not!) The course will give you practical
ways of working, including how to avoid themost common pitfalls. You’ll learn some of thefundamental approaches used by practising
marketers and how marketing works with otherdisciplines. The programme covers commonterminology and marketing practice, the basis ofa marketing plan, how to write cogent briefs for
your marketing partners and suppliers, and how to evaluate the work they do.

Tony was involved in the print and television industries
prior to establishing Creative Advertising Ltd, the only accredited advertising and marketing agency south of Christchurch. For over 30 years the agency has represented a significant number of clients throughout New Zealand. Tony has a wealth of marketing experiences, from being first in the world to negotiate with Fleetwood Mac to purchase one of their hits for a NZ client’s promotion, to flying the ‘Holmes Show’ to Dunedin to do their first outside broadcast which featured the city for the full half-hour on TV One nationwide.
Creative has successfully promoted a diverse range of products and services involving all aspects of marketing, communication and the internet.
