Advocacy
The Advocacy Division delivers submissions and comment to Government, as well as statements of opinion to the media, acting as the voice of business on OSEA members' behalf.
The Division also provides a range of other services to manufacturers and exporters. Making your voice heard through submissions.
Through OSEA and Business NZ you have a team ofexperts who will ensure your voice and the voice of New Zealand business is always heard.

Training & Networks
Members’ have access to an extensive range of courses including Occupational Health & Safety, Employment Law, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Personal Development, plus we are the official provider of New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM) professional development training programmes in Otago and Southland, all at member’s rates.
We have partnered with some of New Zealand's most experienced facilitators who are selected for their practical experience, specialist knowleedge and proven training skills.
Public programmes provide the opportunity to discuss ideas and network with people from other businesses and industries. Alternatively, any of our public courses can be delivered in-house exclusively for your team. Employers’ Association can also partner with you to design a customised in-company training solution specifically catering for your unique training needs and learning outcomes.

Export New Zealand
In 2008 Export New Zealand became a division of Business NZ to strengthen the services it offers to exporters. These services include:
- national and international representation
- advocacy services - representing exporters' views to Government
- promoting exporters' interests through the media
- championing policies that encourage export growth and free enterprise
- preferential access to news and information about exporting issues directly affecting, or relevant to, exporters.
- At a regional level, networking events, training and services are provided by the export divisions of Business NZ's regional business associations
